These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of pineapplecovepaintingco.com and any communications, quotes, or services provided by Pineapple Cove Painting Company LLC ("Pineapple Cove Painting Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this website, submitting any form, or engaging us for painting services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, requesting a quote, or opting in to receive SMS messages from Pineapple Cove Painting Company, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Age restriction (18+): By using this website, submitting any form, or opting in to receive SMS messages from Pineapple Cove Painting Company, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. This website and our SMS program are not directed to individuals under 18. If we learn we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will delete it.

2. Description of Services

Pineapple Cove Painting Company provides residential painting services on Florida's Treasure Coast, including:

• Exterior repainting (stucco, wood, fiber cement, trim, fascia, doors, shutters)
• Interior repainting (walls, ceilings, trim, doors)
• Pressure-wash combined with paint preparation

We are an owner-operated business. Pineapple Cove Painting Company carries general liability insurance and a Florida Workers' Comp construction-class exemption (DFS-F2-DWC-250a). Florida does not license residential painters at the state level pursuant to F.S. 489.

3. Quotes & Estimates

All quotes are provided after an in-home walk-through and presented in writing. A written quote is binding only when signed by the homeowner. Pricing is held for 30 days from the date of the quote unless otherwise noted in writing.

If conditions discovered during the project require work outside the original scope (such as rotted wood, hidden moisture damage, or stucco failure), we will stop, document the condition, and provide a written change-order for your approval before performing any additional work.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms for each project are:

• 50% deposit at the project start.
• Balance due at the final walkthrough, after the homeowner has reviewed and accepted the completed work.
• Accepted methods: cash or check.

5. Property Protection & Workmanship

During the project we use drop cloths, plastic sheeting, and landscape protection as required. The homeowner agrees to provide reasonable access to the work areas and to remove or secure personal items in those areas before work begins. While we take commercially reasonable precautions, we are not responsible for damage to items left in the work area, or to underlying conditions (such as drywall, substrate, or trim) that were not part of the agreed scope.

Workmanship warranty terms are written into your project quote and honored by Pineapple Cove Painting Company directly. Paint product warranties (color retention, peel resistance, etc.) are honored by the manufacturer per their published terms.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Either party may reschedule a project for weather, illness, or unforeseen circumstances by providing reasonable notice. If a homeowner cancels a confirmed project after the deposit has been received, materials and labor already committed may be deducted from any refund.

7. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pineapple Cove Painting Company's total liability arising out of or related to any project is limited to the amount paid by the homeowner for that project. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

8. SMS / Text Message Communications

Pineapple Cove Painting Company offers an SMS program for customers who opt in through the contact form on this website. The program includes two message types:

• Transactional messages and alerts — appointment confirmations, inquiry replies, scheduling updates, and project status texts.
• Marketing and promotional messages — seasonal offers, project galleries, and educational content.

You may opt in to one, both, or neither program. Opting in to SMS is not a condition of receiving a quote or service.

Frequency, rates, and opting out

9. Intellectual Property
